Samsung's latest sub-Rs. 20,000 offering, the Galaxy M34 5G, has just been released in India. The optically stabilised primary camera, enhanced low-light performance, bright display, and large battery are just a few of its selling points. The Galaxy M34 5G comes in two different configurations, one with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage for Rs. 16,999, and another with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for Rs. 18,999. Samsung claims that these prices reflect introductory offers from participating financial institutions. Let's take a closer look at what this phone has to offer and see if it meets your needs.
Like the Galaxy F54 5G, the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G is a rather large smartphone. It's expensive for what it is, but it looks like a solidly constructed phone and could easily fool anyone. The Galaxy F54 and the Galaxy S23 share a camera module design. Although the 6,000mAh battery makes this phone hefty, the plastic body makes it easy to hold. The power button doubles as a fingerprint reader, and there's a jack for headphones at the bottom.
A Samsung Exynos 1280 SoC runs the show in the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G. This handset has a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The battery, according to Samsung, should last for two days on a single charge, and the phone is capable of 25W fast charging when used with a suitable power supply.
The Galaxy M34 5G's primary camera is 50 megapixels and features optical image stabilisation, which is unusual for a device in this price range. It even has a third macro camera and an ultra-wide camera with 8 megapixels. A front-facing camera with 13 megapixels is included in the display notch for taking selfies. The camera app has what Samsung calls "Nightography" modes, which are specialised settings for use at night.
Finally, the Samsung Galaxy M34 5G operates under One UI 5.1 and is said to be eligible for OS upgrades for up to four generations and security patches for up to five years. Many potential buyers may be persuaded to purchase this phone because of the lengthy contract.
Compared to other phones in its price range, such as the brand-new Realme Narzo 60 5G, the Galaxy M34 5G isn't particularly eye-catching. However, it has some competitive specs and its long-term software commitment is a major selling point. In the coming weeks, we will be conducting extensive testing of the Galaxy M34 5G, so stay tuned for our comprehensive review!
