Mercedes-Benz Reveals Updated 2024 GLA, GLB Including AMG Models

Mercedes-Benz has shown off the new GLA and GLB crossovers for 2024. Both cars got many of the same updates, like new standard LED headlights and redesigned front ends. Mercedes also made both come with more standard features.

Both crossovers have new grilles, and the GLB has a more rugged front bumper that gives the appearance of underbody protection. Both cars come in a new Spectral Blue Metallic color and with new wheels in 18- and 20-inch sizes.

The 2024 GLA and GLB crossovers will arrive with two 10.25-inch screens on the dash as standard. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, with Mercedes upholstering the steering wheel in Nappa leather. The AMG Line is available with a heated steering wheel for the first time in both models.

The GLA220, GLB 250, GLB 250 4Matic, and GLB 250 all have the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a new mild-hybrid system. It has a power of 221 horsepower and a torque of 258 pound-feet. The second-generation belt-driven starter-generator gives you an extra 13 hp for a short time.

The changes to the design also affect the AMG models, which get new front fascias with the new look. The AMG logo is now on the hood, and the LED headlights and taillights on the two crossovers have been changed. Inside, they have the latest AMG Performance steering wheel and the latest MBUX software from the company.
